The SRS Distribution SkillBridge Training Program is an operation-based, hands-on program, where you will learn and make contributions from day one! Your goal is to learn all aspects of our business, culture, and core values, so that you can prepare for your post-military career and possibly join the SRS family as an Operations Manager. We have a dedicated Talent Management team working with you and your mentors so that your experience is like no other in the industry.
As an Operations Manager Trainee, you will learn to manage the daily warehouse operations of the facility and supervise the drivers and warehouse staff. You will learn to demonstrate superior customer service that meets each customer’s unique set of delivery and installation requirements as well as assist the assistant branch manager in maintaining inventory levels and day-to-day operations.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Handle incoming customer feedback, assist or direct warehouse personnel in loading and unloading activities, track and report stock levels on software/computer systems, and coordinate material purchases through the Branch Manager. Other duties include order processing and day-end balancing.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Education and Experience:
3 years of leadership experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions. Exposure to high noise level in the work environment.
